Salmon fishing in Newfoundland and Labrador is a dream any avid sportsman

Newfoundland and Labrador has over 60% of North America's
best Atlantic Salmon rivers with some having annual runs in excess of
20,000 fish. There are over 200 known Atlantic Salmon rivers in Newfoundland
and Labrador. In 1996 reports of fish in excess of 40lbs were released
on the Humber River There's always a fat brook trout or a feisty landlocked
salmon lurking under the surface in Newfoundland and Labrador waters.
Many
Newfoundland and Labrador sport fishing outfitters have set up lodges

Port
Blanford - Newfoundland |
Located
in Port Blandford overlooking Bonavista Bay and adjacent to
Terra Nova National Park. Port Blandford is 2 1/4 hours drive
west of the capital city St. John’s and approximately
7 hours drive east of Port Aux Basques. Our 7 charming, clean
cottages on 1 1/2 acres in a clearing of tall quaking aspens
overlooking the ocean are fully equipped with modern amenities.
There is plenty to do while visiting with us! Fishing at three
salmon rivers within five minutes drive, hiking in Terra Nova
National Park, The Discovery Trail, The Kittiwake Trail, Salvage,
etc, 1 hour from Trinity & The Trinity Pageant, Boat Tours
are nearby, On T’railways.

can also be found. We are fly-fishing only. A wonderful
selection of flies is available.

seven bedrooms features a complete bath. We have hiking trails
to encounter the real wilderness of Labrador and view beaver,
