New Brunswick Trout Fishing
|
|
|
New Brunswick has lots of fresh waterand great trout fishing.
The
brook trout is a native of eastern North America and is Atlantic Canada's
most common trout. It is extensively distributed throughout the Atlantic
provinces, including New Brunswick in cool, clear lakes, ponds, and
streams. The brook trout is the fish most preferred by anglers in New
Brunswick. In some areas, the sea-run brook trout that leaves fresh
water and go to sea are popular. Along with fly fishing, lure fishing
for brook trout has become very popular. With strictly enforced bag
limits and continuous restocking programs, New Brunswick's sport fishery
should have a healthy future.
Imagine
fishing for trout in crystalline azure waters .... drift fishing ...choosing
the perfect lure or fly... discovering your very own fishing hole ...
and finally savoring the taste of your pan fried fresh trout.
