fishing guide

British
Columbia is a fisherman's paradise offering some of the best freshwater
fishing to be found. The crystal clear mountain lakes, beautiful rivers
and cool and inviting streams of BC's scenic
interior provide excellent fly fishing, spin casting and trolling opportunities.
From the North there are char and walleye, sturgeon on the Fraser River,
spectacular cutthroat trout in the Kootenays, and world class fly fishing
for rainbow on countless interior lakes. From fishing in world class
rivers to local streams the people of British Columbia view fishing
as part of their heritage and culture.
British Columbia fishing is simply spectacular with countless options
to choose from. You
can choose from trophy steelhead, salmon, trout or bass and walleye
fishing adventures. Guides at most lodges are available to take you
were the action is.
As diverse and unique as the freshwater fishing, so too is the world
class saltwater fishing. The calm protected waters found in the coastal
areas are known around the world as a reliable and consistent salmon
fishery. Species include Chinook (Kings), Coho (Silvers), Sockeye, Chum
and Pink Salmon. Under
the federal Fisheries Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans is
responsible for managing the tidal recreational fisheries and in-river
salmon fisheries.
