Seven Lakes Wilderness Camps has one lake that is accessible for a wonderful winter ice fishing adventure. Ara Lake is one of our most popular summer fishing camps. So it is no wonder that it is a great winter camp. The adventure begins long before you get to the camp. You will drive to a remote spot on a logging road and park your vehicles. You will unload your own snowmobiles and load up your gear and head out through the forest for about two miles until you reach the northwest end of Ara. From there it is ten miles across the frozen, snow covered ice until you reach the camp.
The trip getting there is worth going. Now for the fishing; right out in front of the cabins within 500 to 600 yards is where most of the fishing is done.
